where it all began
Snag Doctor started with one technician, one van and a straightforward idea: most damaged surfaces don’t need replacing, they need repairing properly. The early work was on new build sites, saving site managers from ordering replacements and coordinating three trades to fit them.
Training Brought In-House
Rather than rely on subcontractors and self-taught finishes, we built our own training programme. Every technician now learns the same methods, materials and colour-matching techniques before they work unsupervised — which is what keeps the standard consistent from one region to the next.
A National Network
Franchising let us put trained technicians into regions right across the UK. It means the team that turns up is local to you and knows the area, while the training, methods and warranty stay national.

Snag Doctor is a UK-wide network of cosmetic repair specialists. Every technician is trained at our own facility to a single national standard, so a bath repair in Cardiff is finished the same way as a worktop repair in Leeds.
We work for housebuilders, shop fitters, facilities and property management teams, housing associations, insurers, hotels and homeowners — often in the same week. The scale changes; the standard doesn’t.
