Aftercare Advice

Aftercare & Warranty
At Snag Doctor, our priority is to provide a high-quality, lasting finish using the best quality products available. While your repaired area will look as good as new, proper aftercare is crucial for maintaining the repair.
We offer a 12-month warranty on all repairs, unless otherwise specified during the quotation stage. This warranty covers against any flaking or peeling of the repair, subject to the following conditions:

Ensure there is no structural movement around the repair.
Keep excessive heat away. Temperatures above 150 degrees Celsius or direct flames can affect the integrity of the repair.
Standing water left on the repair will invalidate the warranty.
Avoid using abrasive pads, cleaners or harsh chemicals on the repair.
The appearance of rust or corrosion around the repair will invalidate the warranty.

Here are three steps to ensure excellent aftercare, a valid warranty and a long-lasting repair:
Do Not Touch Your Repair:Your repaired item or resurfaced product needs time to cure. Please avoid touching the repair or placing items on it until after the recommended curing time has passed. For large, resurfaced products or repairs in wet areas (such as baths, basins, shower trays, and ceramic tiling), please allow a minimum of 36 hours before normal use. For smaller repairs in dry areas, a minimum of 8 hours is required before normal use.
Avoid Excessive Heat, Movement, or Standing Water:Please be careful not to apply a direct flame to the repair or heat exceeding 150 degrees Celsius (think hot pans!). Prevent structural movement around the repair and avoid standing water. Please note that new damages around the repair, such as chips, scratches, or the emergence of rust, are not covered under the warranty.
No Abrasive Products, Chemicals, or Dyes:Only use non-abrasive, general purpose, liquid cleaners with a soft cloth or sponge. Please do not use abrasive pads (such as Brillo pads, scotch pads or similar products). Harsh chemicals and dyes can cause discolouration.
